<<<<Links have been removed.>>>> I recently read a quote (I have no idea who originated it) that said, “We have tongues to reveal what’s in our hearts.” Ouch. FREE PRINTABLE... keep reading. Last week I talked about words. I talked about how bad I am at using them well, sometimes. I talked about my plan to create a daily reminder in the form of color using pebbles and a jar. You can read it here. Well, this week, I’m adding flame to my fire. I have collaborated with an incredible artist friend of mine, Kortnei, at Barker Restoration. Now when I say “artist” I don’t take that word lightly. She uses her hands, paint, brushes, and tools to rework, reimagine, restore, and create. She oozes creativity in a way I could only dream of replicating. And if that wasn’t enough, she is a gem of a friend who inspires and challenges me. So when she asked me to pen words for a new project, refusal didn’t even cross my mind. I am honored. The result is a beautiful sign for a little (or big) girl – a reminder to them how special they are. And a reminder to me how carefully I need to choose my words. Our words shape our children in the same way our actions do. They go deep in to the recesses of their minds and take up full-time, permanent residence there. In honor of choosing my words carefully and prayerfully, we are giving away a FREE PRINTABLE of this sign for 24 hours.
