21 Days of Prayer for Revival

We all like to complain. Something about human nature makes us lift our voices loudest when we have something negative to say or some hate to spew. We step up on self-righteous soap boxes pointing our crooked fingers in all directions except one: inward.

Now is the time to stop engaging in a battle of words, wits, and wills. Now's the time to engage in a battle of prayer. And I’m not talking about a battle of prayer for your favorite candidate or ballot issue. I’m talking about a battle of prayer for the hearts and souls of man - your neighbors, your community, yourself, and, yes, our leaders..

I’m talking about prayer for revival. As in a renewal of our attention, affection, and devotion for Truth, Love, and Holiness. Revival is not something manufactured by programs or plans, but a igniting fire from the Holy Spirit upon willing, humble, and repentant hearts.

Starting tomorrow and for the next 21 days I invite you to join me for 21 Days of Prayer for Revival. Each day we will focus on a verse or series of verses from scripture. We will turn each scripture into a prayer. It will be simple and straightforward. Let’s start here. Let’s start with us. It only takes a spark to get a fire going.
